Physical Precision and Narrative Form
Combining ground acrobatics, contemporary dance, and physical theatre developed through training in Palestine and ongoing practice in Europe.
I am Ahmed Kullab (born 1991), an acrobatic dancer and contemporary circus performer living in Ljubljana, Slovenia. My work bridges the technical discipline of breakdance floorwork and acrobatics with contemporary dance partnering and physical theatre dramaturgy.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Primary Education at Al-Quds Open University and earned a 148-hour circus trainer diploma through the Palestinian Circus School. In 2014, I co-founded Terhal Circus to develop contemporary circus work in Palestine. Over the last decade, I have directed, choreographed, and performed across Germany, Italy, France, Jordan, Croatia, Slovenia, and Palestine.
Currently, I perform and teach with Cirkus Fuskabo in Ljubljana and dance with the Stereo 48 company. Alongside stage performance, I regularly teach workshops in acrobatics, partner balance, and movement improvisation.
